Ahmet Baha ÖĞÜTKEN
Öğütken was born on 1 November 1961 in Fatih, İstanbul.
After his primary and secondary education at Tarhan Private School, he went to Oxford for academic training.
He worked as a Financial Advisor in Fatih at an international financial audit firm after 1986.
He engaged in active politics in 2001 as the founding Chairman of Justice and Development Party for Fatih District. He served as chairman for three terms.
He was elected member of the Parliament from the Justice and Development Party for the 25th legislative term. He was a member of the Planning and Budgeting Commission, Chairman of Ecuador Friendship Group and 2nd Chairman of Argentinean Friendship Group.
He served as Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party Central Organization from 2013 to end of 2015.
He was an active member of the Yeni Dünya Foundation, Şebinkarahisar Foundation, Rumeli Foundation, Alzheimer Foundation, Professional Unity Group, İstanbul Chamber of Chartered Accountants and Financial Advisors, Fatih Section of the Red Crescent Society and several other associations and foundations.
He became the Deputy Minister of Health at the 64th government.
He was reappointed to the same office at the 65th government.
He is married and has three children.
